Please note you maybe waiting for upto 10-15mins.- before you are seen as we are only permitting minimum numbers of patients into the premises at any one time for safety.
Please maintain a safe distance of 2 metres from all other patients that may also be waiting, inside the floors are marked with distance guides that will need to be observed once you have entered the building.

Welcome to Wilmslow Road Medical Centre, providing primary care for Rusholme and surrounding areas. We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
We are a 4 doctor practice of which 3 doctors are partners to the surgery with 1 salaried GP.The practice staff and doctors speak various languages including: Arabic, Burmese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Swaheli and French.

The Medical Centre
The Medical Centre is situated in a purpose built premises opened in 1990, we offer comfortable surroundings and a wide range of in-house services giving out patients an ultimate one-stop experience.
Seeing the Doctor
To see the doctor of your choice for routine appointments ring 0161 224 2452. Same day access is available every day.
Bookings start at 8:45am to 10:00am and you will be offered a same day appointment with the next available GP subject to availability. We also offer telephone consulations but do advise that this may not always appropriate depending on your medical condition, in some cases you may be required to arrange a face to face appointment so that the GP may assess your need as necessary.
We can offer PCM hub appointments in the locality if you are willing to attend another practice out of hours including weekends.Ask for further information at reception.
Any patients with medical urgency should contact the surgery. Any life threatening emergencies dial 999. Call: 111 when the surgery is closed if you need advice.

Extended hours is now fully functional - this will be telephone assessments unles otherwise arranged by a GP - we are not offering online booking at present due to COVID 19. You must call the practice to book any appointments.

Manchester GP surgeries are there for you
at evenings and weekends.
The practice, working in collaboration with Manchester Extended Access, is pleased to offer access to GP, nurse and HCA appointments during the evenings and at the weekends.
To book appointments simply ask the receptionist who will arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. This may not be at your usual practice, but the GP or Health Care Professional who sees you will have access to your medical record and can issue prescriptions if required and deal with other matters appropriately should the need arise.
