When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed dial 1-1-1 for the NHS 111 service. If you have a life threatening emergency please call 999.

Another option for medical assistance needed promptly is to visit an NHS Walk-in Centre. The nearest can be found next to A&E at Manchester Royal Infirmary (which lies between Oxford Road (A34) and Upper Brook Street, M13).

It is open 365 days a year: Monday to Friday 08.30am – 10.00pm; weekends and bank holidays 10.00am – 10.00pm.

Tel: (0161) 276 5193.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
